Our 1920s-themed celebration will feature a cocktail hour, delicious Northwest cuisine, exciting live and silent auctions, live music, stories from OEF recipients and more—don’t forget to dress up in your finest Great Gatsby-style attire!

Proceeds from the event will support Oregon Energy Fund’s mission of strengthening household stability by assisting Oregonians in financial crisis with their energy bills.

Drew Carney, KGW-TV

Drew Carney joined Portland’s KGW-TV in September of 2006.

He’s an anchor on KGW News at Sunrise. He has also spent the past 12 years producing entertaining & community-minded reports for the Sunrise show.

Drew's TV career began almost 20 years ago after graduating from Temple University in Philadelphia. He started out as a sports anchor/reporter with jobs at the NBC Stations in Abilene, Texas and Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

In October of 2000, Drew moved to Portland and two years later made the switch from sports anchor to feature segment reporter. Since then, he's called the Pacific Northwest home. He's married to a born-and-raised Oregonian and they share a home just outside Portland with their twin boys and a dog named “Blaze.”

Misty Marquam, founder and Principal Auctioneer at Marquam Auction Agency, will be at the helm of the Gala’s live auction. Misty helped make our 2017 Gala a roaring success with her enthusiasm for our mission and this year promises to be no different.


Smut City Jelly Roll Society

A fun-loving group of musicians, The Smut City Jellyroll Society are known for their vintage blues and early jazz from the 1920's and 1930’s. With a unique sound somewhere between ragtime blues, early jazz and jug band music, the Jellyroll Society keeps it loose and lively. The music is from a variety of sources including Bessie Smith, Memphis Jug Band, Blind Boy Fuller as well as a number of original tunes written in the style of the period.


InstaPix NWinstaPix NW Photo Booth

Get glamorous in our 1920’s-themed photo booth! InstaPix NW will be set up with props and an open air booth during the silent auction to snap photos.

Portland’s most storied hotel will provide an elegant backdrop for our event with catering from in-house restaurant Jake’s Grill. While there is no parking onsite, if you are driving there are several parking garages very close by as well as street parking in the vicinity. If you are taking public transit, there are numerous bus, MAX, and streetcar stops within a few blocks of the venue.
