Oregon Energy Fund Power Potluck
Wednesday, October 13, 2021
Pre-show at 6:30 | Program begins at 7:00
Get ready to dig in to Oregon Energy Fund's first ever Power Potluck, a special virtual event to celebrate our community's generosity and commitment to Oregonians in need!
Just like a potluck, our work at OEF can only be accomplished when our friends and neighbors chip in. Whether you contribute a little or a lot, it all adds up to a grand feast. And after a year of great challenges and successes, we'd like to show our appreciation by raising a glass to you!
This year's event will be held online on Wednesday, October 13. We've cooked up an incredible program for you, including a cornucopia of live music, inspiring stories from clients and partners, DIY cocktail lessons, and more!
Registration is free and open to all! Just click the link above to RSVP. Donations are gratefully welcomed; all proceeds will support OEF's mission to assist Oregonians in financial crisis with their energy bills in support of household stability.
And while we won't be gathering in person, don't worry — you'll still get the chance to show off your favorite family recipe! Join in the virtual Potluck by submitting the recipe for your favorite cold-weather dish, which we'll share with the community during and after our broadcast. Photos are welcome too!
Oregon Energy Fund
Brian Allbritton has served as the Executive Director of Oregon Energy Fund since 2016 and is excited to be this year's event host! During Brian's time at OEF, he's overseen the launch of several new innovative projects, including our Student and Senior Discount Programs, and is proud of OEF's role in making energy assistance more accessible to Oregonians in need. Prior to OEF, Brian served as the Chief Financial Officer at Trillium Family Services, had a successful career in high tech, and earned his MBA at London Business School. He lives in Portland with his family and spends his free time mountain biking, snowboarding, and enjoying Oregon's natural beauty.
Marquam Auction Agency
Misty Marquam, Founder and Principal Auctioneer at Marquam Auction Agency, will join Brian as co-host and lead fundraiser! A native Oregonian, reformed computer geek, foodie, and mother of two, Misty has been innovating FUNdraising since 2006 and is a World Wide College of Auctioneering graduate, a Benefit Auctioneer Specialist, a St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Fundraising Ambassador, and a member of the National Auctioneers Association. This is Misty's fifth (!) event with OEF, and we're thrilled to have her back!
Smut City Jellyroll Society
A fun-loving group of musicians, The Smut City Jellyroll Society are known for their vintage blues and early jazz from the 1920's and 1930’s. With a unique sound somewhere between ragtime blues, early jazz and jug band music, the Jellyroll Society keeps it loose and lively. The music is from a variety of sources including Bessie Smith, Memphis Jug Band, Blind Boy Fuller as well as a number of original tunes written in the style of the period. We're excited to welcome Smut City back for another year!
