A Letter from Our Executive Director
Dear Friends,
As we continue celebrating 35 years of service, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible impact we’ve made together. Thanks to your generosity, more than 350,000 Oregonians have received the emergency utility assistance they needed to stay warm, safe, and housed during times of crisis. Your support has been the foundation of our work, and we couldn’t do this without you.
One of the things I value most about this community is the way our donors, partners, and clients share their insights on how we can better serve Oregonians in need. These conversations help shape our future, and because of them, we’re developing new programs that will allow us to provide even greater support to households facing energy insecurity. We look forward to sharing these exciting initiatives with you in the coming year.
Yet no matter how we grow, our core mission remains the same: ensuring that families don’t have to make impossible choices between keeping the lights on and other essentials like rent, food, and medicine. Energy assistance is a lifeline, not just for warmth and safety, but for stability and dignity—and thanks to you, that lifeline remains strong.
On behalf of all of us at Oregon Energy Fund, thank you for your generosity, your ideas, and your commitment to our work. With your support, we’ll continue lighting the way for our neighbors in need for many years to come.
With gratitude,
Brian Allbritton
Executive Director
